Doug began his professional career working with the U.S. State Department at embassies around the globe, taking him to 47 countries in 10 years. After starting his family and having three amazing kids, he wanted to stay stateside, so he moved to Washington, D.C. and became involved in the residential mortgage industry. Trade publication Scotsman Guide has recognized Doug by naming him to their nationwide Top Originator list based on his annual volume of loan closings.
