About Us
Founded by ladies who resided in the beach community of Treasure Island, the organization was chartered in 1955. Being an Islette has continued to mean having neighborhood pride, and sharing sorority through a spirit of volunteerism. The mission of the “Treasure Islettes” is the promotion of civic, social and community assistance primarily in the City of Treasure Island, but also in the surrounding communities of Pinellas County, and through support of nationally recognized non-profit organizations. The club is non-partisan, non-sectarian and is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
The Treasure Islettes meet on the fourth Monday at 7 pm each month from September to May at the Treasure Island Community Center. The Islettes welcome all women who have an interest in volunteerism for more information contact The Treasure Islettes by email at caalee@verizon.net
